Chrysler Pacifica Wins Best New Family Car Award

Chrysler Pacifica Family Car - Gossett CDJR - Memphis, TN

Since its debut, the Chrysler Pacifica has been the preferred vehicle for families on the go. Families, though, are not the only people who appreciate the features, power, comfort and tech of the Chrysler Pacifica. Auto critics and experts have also taken notice of the minivan showering it with awards and accolades. The latest honor comes from Good Housekeeping and Car and Driver, which named the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica the Best New Family Car in the minivan category.

Award winning vehicles were evaluated on safety, technology, design, value and handling and performance. Each was put through a 5,000-mile road test. The Pacifica excelled in every category and was particularly praised for its spacious cabin and safety systems.

“The second and third rows on non-hybrid models fold fully into the floor for extra cargo space,” reports GH chief technologist and head engineer Rachel Rothman. “We also like that key driver-assistance features, like automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, are standard.”

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica debuted at this year’s Chicago Auto Show. It features several new upgrades including a new trim level — Pinnacle™, new available AWD system, and the Uconnect 5 system, a first for a FCA vehicle available in North America. The new Uconnect 5 system boasts a class-leading 10.1-inch touch screen.
