You have the pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, and stuffing all taken care of, but are you still looking for the best ways to enjoy your Thanksgiving in Memphis this year? Check out a few of these delightful events in the region, and have a gobblin’ good time this Thanksgiving!
68th Annual Holiday Bazaar
Get your shopping done early and feel good about where you’re spending your money at the 68th Annual Holiday Bazaar Fundraiser at the Memphis College of Art. Find unique gifts for your friends and family on Friday, Nov. 16, from 5-10 p.m.
Memphis Hungry Turkey 5k
Have fun and feel less guilty about that second serving of pumpkin pie by taking part in this year’s Memphis Hungry Turkey 5K. The run/walk takes place on Thanksgiving morning, making it a great way to work up an appetite. Over 60,000 Americans take part in “turkey trots” across the country, so make 2018 your year to join in this healthy American tradition!
Taste of Hope
Keep the deliciousness of the season flowing this year at the American Cancer Society’s Taste of Hope event. Here, you can sample fine wines and delectable dishes while taking part in a silent auction and live entertainment. This event takes place eight days after Thanksgiving, so hopefully you’ll be able to stomach the thought of stuffing your stomach by then!
From everyone here at Gossett CDJR, here’s hoping for a happy Thanksgiving!
