New Ram Postal Service Vans Work in Rain or Shine

Partnering with the US Postal Service, Ram will be supplying over 9,000 new models to be outfitted for mail and package delivery. The 2016 Ram ProMaster Vans will be specially outfitted so they work well with the US mail service, helping get you your mail, rain or shine.

According to Chrysler, the Ram Postal Service Vans will specifically be the ProMaster 2500 models. With an award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar engine, these models have great power output and even better fuel economy. Paired with a high-strength six-speed transmission, this model is great for hauling heavy loads.

“The Ram ProMaster is suited to meet the challenging demands of a USPS delivery vehicle,” said Bob Hegbloom, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand (FCA US). “Reliability, durability, ease of use, lower acquisition and operating costs are hallmarks of the Ram ProMaster.”

This model also features a unibody system under the cab, enabling a segment-first front-wheel drive system. Increasing handling, this model is great in harsh climates, especially rain and snow. We can’t wait to see the mail dropped off in one of these Ram 2500 models.
